PGX-DB
The PGX-DB website was developed as a high-performance, research-focused platform dedicated to pharmacogenomics data. With a user-centric interface and seamless navigation, it enables researchers, clinicians, and students to explore gene-drug interactions, variant details, and curated scientific literature with ease. The design emphasizes clarity and functionality to ensure that complex datasets are accessible and interpretable for a diverse audience.

Technically, the website is built using the Django framework with Djongo as the database connector, allowing smooth integration between Django ORM and MongoDB. This hybrid approach enables the flexibility and scalability of a NoSQL database while retaining Django’s powerful admin features and structured workflow.
Custom views, RESTful APIs, and dynamic search features were developed to handle and present large datasets effectively, while ensuring the site remains responsive and user-friendly across all devices.
